For Ap, the curtain is finally falling on the pub 'De Ommele.' He was unable to reach an agreement with the landlord, so the place is being cleared out all hands on deck. Amidst the tourists and the occasional photo opportunity, he and Teun work toward the inevitable moment when he will close the door of 'De Ommele' behind him for the very last time. Following their gastric bypass surgeries, Gerda and Mathilde have lost a combined total of fifty kilos, opening up new possibilities. Together with Klaas, they travel to Belgium for the metal festival Graspop; where they watched from the sidelines last year, they might even find themselves crowd surfing this time around. A new chapter is also beginning for Gre. Born and raised in Urk, she is leaving her beloved village for Emmeloord a move she clearly finds very difficult. Meanwhile, Teun is busy with renovations in his new home.

Meanwhile, Bert and Matthijs are organizing a surprise party for Teun’s birthday.
