With Jimmy’s abrupt arrival to Taipei, Damian finds himself in the midst of a tough spot of having to help his teenage son from California adapt to a starkly different way of life in Taiwan and more pressingly, the need to find a way to reconcile with his dearest husband, Jerry, who has left Damian and permanently moved back to Hualien with their son, Kai. Upon discussing the situation with his sister, Celine, Damian is as determined as ever to win back Jerry’s heart for which he finally departs to Hualien along with Jimmy.

With Damian, Jimmy and now even his ex-wife, Kate all in Hualien, Jerry is left feeling a flush of strong emotions and gets jealous of Kate’s dynamics with Damian. Upon seeing the family of three getting along together happily, Jerry can’t help but feel like he’s the other man and thereby decides to take some time off from them to concentrate on his work. As he goes around looking for suitable restaurants to cover on his livestream, he crosses paths with Kao, his former crush back in high school. The two, then, take the time to chat and reminisce about their carefree youthful days, a time when Jerry didn’t have the burden of raising a family and a home.

After discovering that Kai is not Jerry's biological son and whether it would be right for them to include Kai in the family's generational book, Jerry's parents try to persuade their son to have a child of his own. Damian, on the other hand, finds himself having to rush back to Taipei to deal with the preparations for the opening of the second branch of his restaurant, Verso as well as take Jimmy back to school. Meanwhile, the lesbian couple, Sasa and Amy are beginning to get increasingly concerned about their son Matt's liking for girl's outfits and wonder if they their son is going through gender identity issues.

Damian suddenly finds himself being summoned at Jimmy's school to be informed about his son's supposed interest and enthusiasm for his female peers in his class! It looks like Jimmy's cultural incompatibility and his care-free, "western" attitude is not particularly sitting well among his teachers at the school. At the same time. Kai, who is far away in Hualien, is increasingly beginning to miss his new brother so Damian makes the final effort to persuade Jerry to return to Taipei together with him.

With Damian, Jerry, Kai, and Jimmy now in Taipei, the four finally begin their lives together as a family. However, they are soon to realize that living under the same roof is by no means an easy feat. At the same time, Jerry arranges for them to attend a special memorial concert being held in the name of Yeh Yung Chih, a boy who was ultimately bullied to his death by some classmates because of his gender nonconformity. The meaningful event helps bring the family closer together and it turns out that Jimmy always knew of the secret that his dad tried so hard to keep hidden.

In an attempt to set an example for gay couples and queer families looking to have kids of their own, Jerry decides it's time for to come out his followers and begins recording his life with Damian, Kai and Jimmy to put out to the channel. In an instant, the recordings gain immense popularity among Jerry's legion of fans with a slew of positive and encouraging feedback. However, at the same time, the sudden revelation about Jerry's private life eventually goes on to adversely affect Damian's career and Kai's well-being. Ultimately, under various negative influences, Jerry and Damian begin to disagree and argue with each other.

At the opening party for Equal, Damian's latest business venture, Jerry unexpectedly stumbles upon a very wasted Damian getting up close and personal with one of his employees, Xiao Wei. Left feeling hurt, heartbroken and anguished, a sad and confused Jerry runs away from home only to find solace in the arms of Kao and ends up moving in with his best friend, Brian. Meanwhile, on the other side, an equally sad and anxious Damian is at no peace either and seeks the help of his sister Celine to find a way to win Jerry's trust back and bring him back home.

Having had several ups and downs throughout their relationship, Damian and Jerry finally decide to tie the knot so they can be forever one another's and Jerry can finally adopt Kai as his real son. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, all of Damian's and Jerry's family and friends and Kai and Jimmy come together to show their love and support for their lovely union and what touches Jerry the most is their heartfelt, genuine blessings.
