Catuçaba

Overview

A village lost in the wide open spaces of Brazil sets the scene for its inhabitants’ actions and memories. Actions that are immutable, memories that become legends. Buried in time that stands still, and marked by precise shot composition, Catuçaba is a baroque fairy-tale inhabited by ordinary people, reminiscent of a singular magical realism.
